Enjoyed a day of nice weather at a remote lake yesterday before the torrential rains hit again - 80 to 100mm (3-4 inches?) expected by tomorrow morning. More flood watch warnings, too. Here I thought we were supposed to have a hot, dry summer this year. Anyway, wish it was me out in that red kayak…

One home nestled in the vast landscape that sits in front of Mitchell Mesa, just as you near the Utah border. Strangely, because of where it’s situated, I had to take US 163, enter Utah, and then head Southwest on Monument Valley Road to cross back over slightly into Arizona to take the shot.
